Responsible Lending Policy

- OUR COMMITMENT

NOLT Finance is committed to lending responsibly. We assess every applicant's ability to repay before extending credit, using income verification, bank statement analysis, and credit checks conducted through at least two independent, CBN-licensed Credit Bureaux. We do not lend amounts that our assessment shows a customer cannot reasonably afford.

- NO SHORT-TERM PREDATORY LOANS

NOLT Finance does not offer short-term predatory digital loans. All credit facilities disbursed through our platform feature a mandatory minimum repayment tenor that strictly exceeds 60 days from the date of final disbursement, with a standard minimum repayment period of 90 days and a maximum of 365 days. These tenors are prominently displayed on the product screen before any loan application is finalized.

- TRANSPARENT PRICING

We disclose all fees, interest rates, and repayment terms upfront, before you accept any offer. The maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for any credit product on this platform is capped at 65% per annum. This is an all-inclusive figure covering the base interest rate plus all applicable processing fees, management fees, and administrative charges. All operational charges applicable to your credit facility are explicitly itemized. These include processing fees, management fees, late payment penalties, and prepayment penalties (where applicable). No hidden or unlisted fees will be levied against your account.

- FAIR DEBT COLLECTION

Our internal and external debt collection teams operate strictly within the boundaries of the CBN Fair Debt Collection Guidelines. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of customer harassment, digital defamation, or threatening behavior during recovery actions.

- LATE PAYMENT CONSEQUENCES

Failure to repay your loan within the agreed timeline will attract late payment penalties, which may include an increased default interest rate. Default data will be reported to licensed Credit Bureaux and the CBN Credit Risk Management System (CRMS), which may restrict your ability to access credit across the financial sector.

- CUSTOMERS IN DIFFICULTY

We take extra care with customers who show signs of financial distress and will not knowingly extend further credit that would worsen their situation. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, please contact us at customercare@noltfinance.com before your loan falls into default so we can discuss the options available to you.

- YOUR DEVICE DATA

NOLT Finance will not access, download, or harvest your smartphone's personal contacts, private photo galleries, or local media storage files for the purpose of assessing your credit eligibility or conducting underwriting. All credit assessments are completed strictly using the authorized datasets disclosed in our Data Processing Agreement.
